Well, there are several reasons. Try these…
You know who you are dealing with – no need to qualify if you have a ‘real’ buyer. That’s Chris’s photo at the top of the homepage.
Convenience – if we agree a price then arrangements will be made for collection and payment, usually within 24-48 hours, or alternative agreed date and time to suit you.
No let-downs or timewasters – when we agree a time and date, we’ll be there.
Secure payment – by bank transfer or draft on collection.
No ‘selling’ required – there is no need to prepare your vehicle to a high standard, or think of persuasive discussion points. We know what we are looking at and our standard appraisal is concerned with the integrity of the vehicle as a whole rather than minor cosmetic details.
No bartering – You know what we will pay prior to collection. This is why it is essential we know everything about the vehicle before we give a price. Just like you, we don’t want surprises and assuming that our brief appraisal meets the description given, all will be well. If an unknown and unforeseen problem is identified, it does not necessarily mean that we won’t buy, although the price may be affected.
Sensitivity – Sometimes life throws us a curve-ball and our circumstances change, for example a serious illness or bereavement. At these times it can be hard to part with a vehicle that represents years of pleasure. The stress of dealing with unknown prospective buyers, or ‘tyre kickers’ who lack commitment to purchase, can add to what is already a difficult time. Its good to know that there are people out there who want to do business quietly and efficiently, with the minimum of fuss.
Fair and honest – Our ethos is about building a business for the long term. We want to do our job well and stay in business through recommendation going forward. We try our hardest to deal with customers in the manner we would like to be dealt with.
